Dr. Gardner completed his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He completed his doctoral residency at The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in concert with the Rochester General Hospital Center for Clinical Systems Biology, where he conducted research in developing computational models for diagnosing and predicting maximal treatment outcomes for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and chronic pain. He is currently completing his postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Paul Beljan at Beljan Psychological Services.  

Dr. Gardner's areas of clinical interest include neurodevelopmental disorders, medically complex cases affecting neurocognitive function, and forensic cases related to brain-based disorders. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Gardner is currently conducting research with Dr. Beljan and the doctoral practicum students at Beljan Psychological Services developing algorithmic approaches for the identification and classification of executive functioning and learning disorders.

In his free time, Dr. Gardner enjoys watching sports, running, and spending time with family. Dr. Gardner runs a technology start-up which develops websites and increases SEO for local psychologists as well as directing IT services for the bi-annual virtual conferences of the American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology.
