Dr. Homaijani graduated with her doctorate in clinical psychology from Midwestern University.  She completed her doctoral internship and post-doctoral training with the Hawaii Department of Education.  Dr. Homaijani administers a wide variety of achievement and psychological assessment tools with children and adolescents.  She can then communicate those results with public and private schools to advocate for the educational needs of children. 

 Dr. Homaijani has extensive psychotherapeutic experience working with children who may have attention, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges. She is well versed in understanding the special needs of children with gifted intellect. She offers parent consultation to help them develop behavioral and emotional improvement strategies for home. 

 Finally, Dr. Homaijani has a unique skill set that focuses on performance-related concerns, including sports and health psychology with adolescents and adults. Sports and health psychology is an area frequently overlooked in adolescent and young adult females. The cornerstone of her approach is on personal growth, mindset, and resilience. Her work is collaborative, evidence-based, and individualized to support meaningful change.
